What "Research Use Only" Means

"Research Use Only" (RUO) is a designation indicating that a product is intended solely for laboratory and scientific research purposes, conducted entirely outside of a living organism (in vitro). RUO products are not subject to FDA premarket approval as drugs or medical devices because they are not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or human use.

Who May Purchase

Carrot Labs sells exclusively to qualified researchers, scientists, and laboratory professionals. By completing our age and researcher verification process, buyers affirm that:

• They are 21 years of age or older.
• They are purchasing for legitimate in vitro scientific research purposes.
• They have the knowledge and facilities to handle research-grade compounds safely and lawfully.
• They will not use any product for human or veterinary consumption or administration.

Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited and violate our Terms of Service:

• Human consumption or self-administration in any form
• Veterinary administration
• Use as an ingredient in food, dietary supplements, or cosmetics
• Use in diagnostic procedures intended for human patients
• Resale for human consumption purposes
